An Alphabet Of Arousalis the 20th installment in Sydney Theatre Company’s Rough Draft series.

A collaboration between STC co-resident director Sarah Giles and writer Angus Cerini (Wretch,Drill Down), the production is the result of a week long creative development program where theatre makers come together to try out new ideas and ways of working and collaborating. Giles and Cerini will workshop Cerini’s play to explore its creative possibilities. The play follows returned soldier Charlie struggling to take control of his life in the wake of service, and his partner Juliet who is trying desperately to reconnect with him. An Alphabet Of Arousal looks to sex, violence and the impact modern warfare has on individuals to paint a tender portrait of a couple in crisis.An Alphabet Of Arousal features Daniel Henshall, John McConville and Aimee Horne.
