If you happened to miss Arrested Development’s greatest hits tour last year, then you’ve got another chance to see the group this year, as they head to Sydney and Melbourne to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut record.

The influential hip-hop group have announced two dates in November that will see them hit up Sydney’s Metro Theatre, and Melbourne’s Forum theatre, as they celebrate the quarter-century anniversay of their first record, 1992’s 3 Years, 5 Months And 2 Days In The Life Of….

The group’s debut record holds a special place in the annals of music history, serving as one of the very first examples of alternative hip-hop, and focused on aspects of peace, love, and unity, rather than topics that the then-popular gangsta rap would tackle instead. Tracks such as ‘People Everyday’ and ‘Mr. Wendal’ are regarded as classics of the genre, while ‘Tennessee’ was featured in Rolling Stone’s list of 500 songs that shaped rock and roll.

So if you’re keen to hear the group’s classic 3 Years, 5 Months And 2 Days In The Life Of… album, plus a wide variety of their greatest hits as well, be sure to grab yourself a ticket to one of the greatest hip-hop bands of all time.
