It ain’t no Hogwarts but this school is still pretty magical. (Disclaimer: Unfortunately there will be no sorting hat.)

Want to work in film, radio or television? Well then AFTRS is the school for you. At the open day you’ll get to experience real studios in action, learn about the range of courses on offer for 2017, and meet some of the schools’ recent successful alumni. Previous alumni include: Jane Campion (The Piano, Top of the Lake), Ivan Sen (Goldstone) and Margaret Sixel, winner of the 2016 Academy Award for film editing this year for Mad Max: Fury Road.

This is an awesome opportunity – and the best part about it is, no ATAR is required to apply to AFTRS. The selection process is judged on merit not a rank.

P.S. That’s not actually the best part. The best part is… Ah sorry, you’ll have to attend the open day to find out.

AFTRS Open Day will be on Saturday September 10 from 10 am till 4:30 pm. For more information click here.
