In conjunction with the centennial commemorations of the Gallipoli Campaign, Penrith Regional Gallery presents Home Front, an all new exhibition depicting the lives of Australian soldiers.

Created by artist Catherine O’Donnell,Home Frontprovides an insight to the tense lives of soldiers on the warfront, while bringing a more intimate presentation of how each soldier maintained their identity throughout the experience.

Alongside O’Donnell’s exhibit, a selection of pieces will be displayed including Ken Done’s take on the Japanese submarines in Sydney Harbour, Wendy Sharp’s refugee portraits, and portraits of Aboriginal servicemen and women.

The Home Front exhibition will be held at Penrith Regional Gallery from Saturday April 11 until Sunday May 24.
