Artspace presents On Return And What Remains, a group exhibition that brings together artists from different countries and generations who have a connnection to war.
The exhibition coincides with the current withdrawal of Australian and allied forces from Afghanistan, andthe centenary of the beginning of the First World War, giving it both historical and contemporary context.On Return And What Remains assembles a selection of harrowing and confronting works that highlight the enormous challenges that are still faced by those who have served duty on the front lines of global conflicts.
On Return And What Remains will open at Artspace Gallery, Woolloomooloo on Thursday August 21.
