The Wealth Of The Land is the new creative project of artist and writer Chips Mackinolty.

Having already been featured in Palermo, Italy – The Cross Art Projects’ latest exhibition The Wealth Of The Landprovides a look into the natural wealth of Sicilian horticulture through Chips Mackinolty’s series of prints.

The exhibition raises questions about the unsustainable nature of constantly sending food around the world via carbon-intensive food distribution networks – and through his art, Mackinolty shows how locally grown fresh foods will become more vital over time.

On Friday June 3, Chips himself will hold a talk at the gallery, which will be followed by a Food Walkabout to a nearby roof garden.

The Wealth Of The Landwill run until Saturday June 18 at The Cross Art Projects.
