Dad’s the word, and they’re not about to keep quiet with new showDads.

Seeking inspiration from the most unexpected places, Sydney-based dance and choreography group Dance Makers Collective have announced new showDads.

True to their word, the show will draw influence from the fathers of those involved within the collective, taking cues from the pleasures of the everyday to inform their dance practice. Through interviews with their dads and rehearsal studio sessions, the show will explore an untapped resource of carport parties, door-knob dance partners, tambourines and the many benefits of dance as a tool for recovery.

FORM Dance Projects and Riverside Theatres will presentDads from Wednesday November 2 to Saturday November 5. Tickets are available fromRiverside Theatre.
