Darling Quarter Will Exhibit The Art Of Over 300 Young Migrants
In order to celebrate Harmony Day, Darling Quarter will host a free art exhibit showcasing the works of young migrants.
Harmony Art Collective is a brand new national art initiative that unites top artists with over 300 young Australian migrants. Four of Australia and New Zealand's top street artists have travelled the country to mentor young people who are new to Australia. Through their art, many of the young people could express their sense of self-identity.
The results of the project will be showcased at a free large-scale event in Sydney from Wednesday March 15 to Tuesday April 25. Harmony Art Collective is a collaboration between SBS, aMBUSH Gallery and the Department of Social Services and Gallery.
