Griffin Theatre Company has announced the intriguingly titledLadies Day as their first show of the year.

A new play by Alana Valentine, Ladies Dayaims to explore issues surrounding tolerance and self-respect, and was drawn from a series of interviews with the gay community in Broome.

Given Valentine’s impressive track record to date, the show promises to be a singularly compelling achievement, and features a cast of local talents to boot.

Ladies Day kicks off on Friday February 5, and runs till Saturday March 26. More information is available on Griffin’s website, here.
