Milk Crate Theatre is getting set to unveil its newest production This House is Mine this week.

In association with City of Sydney, Milk Crate Theatre is presenting This House is Mine, a play exploring social marginalisation and the relationship between homelessness and mental health. The play features an ensemble of over 40 individuals who have themselves experienced homelessness or some form of social marginalisation and have managed to turn their lives around.

Milk Crate Theatre aims to provide a safe environment for people dealing with homelessness to change their lives and inspire others to do the same by encouraging confidence and creativity. The ensemble is involved in all aspects of the performance, with guidance and support from a professional production team.

This House Is Mine is playing at Darlinghurst Theatre from Thursday March 12 – Sunday March 22.
