The Cranston Cup celebrates Sydney’s burgeoning improv comedy scene, and this year is set to be a big one, with over 30 improv teams battling it out in the Cranston Cup heats and the celebration of 30 years of Theatresports in Australia.

This year the semi-finals competition takes on the title ‘Game of Games’ alluding to the game show theme that will characterise the event.

Each Sunday in the first three weeks of November will see the 18 best improv teams battle each other in their bid to make it to the grand final of Australian improv. Previous winners will be competing alongside improv newcomers, ensuring a high standard of comedy.

The 2015 Cranston Cup Semi Finals will be held at the Factory Theatre on Sundays from 5pm on November 1, 8 and 15. Tickets for these shows are available from the Factory Theatre website. Tickets for the Grand Final, held on Saturday November 28 at the Enmore Theatre, are available online.
