Live entertainment, street art, market stalls and authentic food will come together for one day in August when Liverpool Council hosts its first Street Art Festival next month.

The free event will showcase some of Sydney’s leading street artists, musicians, artists and designer stalls, plus a variety of food and drinks from Liverpool’s diverse cuisines. The festival will also feature appearances and work from Mulga and Skulk.

An artwork from Mulga has already been commissioned at a site on Macquarie Street, in the city centre.

The festival will take place at Liverpool’s Bathurst Street South Carpark from 3pm to 8pm on Saturday August 13.
