The Sydney Writers’ Festival is nearly upon us, and with it comes a plethora of exciting literary events, many of which are free.

One free event that will be held at Bondi Pavillion during the festival is ‘A Man Made of Bats’. It will feature some of Sydney’s best comic actors and comedians in a theatrical reading of Patrick Lenton’s book,A Man Made Entirely of Bats. The book is a collection of comedic short stories that are just as crazy as its title suggests. Presented with Rock Surfers Theatre Company, ‘A Man Made Entirely of Bats’ is weird, clever and funny.

A Man Made Entirely of Batswill be performed at the Bondi Pavillion on Thursday May 21. Though it will be free, bookings are essential.
