The Macular Disease Foundation Australia’s fifth annual mEYE World Photographic Competition returns with the theme ‘See My World’.

As macular disease is the leading cause of blindness and severe vision loss in Australia, the aptly titled ‘See My World’ theme for this year’s mEYE World Photographic Competition is an excellent way to highlight the sheer value of sight in daily life through an exploration of artistic individual world view. As well as over $13,000 worth of prizes to be won, the competition is a reminder that eye tests and macular checks are of vital importance.

To enter, just submit a photograph online that represents the theme, as well as a brief description which will be judged by a high-profile panel including Macular Disease Foundation Australia patron Ita Buttrose, Rex Dupain and Alan Pyrke.

Entires for the mEYE World Photographic Competition close at 5pm on Tuesday September 8. Enter here.
