G.bod Theatre have announced the world premiere of Queen Bette, a show honouring the life of iconic movie star Bette Davis.

Renowned Australian actress Jeanette Cronin will be taking on the role of Davis, as the one-woman show explores the life of a true movie legend. Davis is one of American cinema’s most celebrated actresses from the early 20th century, with a forceful and intense acting style.

Queen Bette is running through February and March, as part of both the Mardi Gras Festival and the Old 505 Theatre 2015 Season.

Queen Bette opens at the Old 505 Theatre on Wednesday February 25 and runs until Sunday March 15. Tickets are on sale now through the venue.
