The Sydney-based Sport For Jove theatre company is about to enter its eighth year of showcasing theatrical talent with a schedule to make it the biggest year yet.

The 2017 season is set to bring 64 actors and four directors to the stage, where they’ll be showing a combination of exciting new works and some of the most well-known theatre in history.

Over the summer, Sport For Jove be showing two Shakespeare classics, Julius Caesar and Antony And Cleopatra from Saturday December 17 – Sunday January 29.

In autumn, the company is showcasing a co-produced work inspired by the history of Urania Cottage, a home for fallen women that was founded by Charles Dickens.

Sport For Jove will also be showing a new adaptation of Cyrano De Bergerac, They Shoot Horses Don’t They? and No End Of Blamein 2017.
