Part of the program for this year’s Sydney Film Festival will include a unique dual film and restaurant pairing event.

Set to take place exclusively on Tuesday June 14 and Wednesday June 15, festivalgoers can now purchase tickets to a premiere film screening followed by a delectable meal at the 2016 Restaurant of the Year as chosen by the Sydney Morning Herald‘s Gourmet Food Guide.

First-off guests will catch the premiere ofAnts On A Shrinp: Noma In Tokyo;a documentary about the struggle of Copenhagen-based celebrity chef Rene Redzepi – owner the world’s best restaurant, to craft a special new Japanese menu. The screening will be followed by an incredible meal at Sydney’s The Bridge Room, sure to satisfy patrons after enduring such a mouth-watering film.

The Sydney Film Festival’s gourmet cinema event will take place onTuesday June 14 and Wednesday June 15 only. Tickets are on sale now from the official Sydney Film Festival website.
