Now in its fourth year, the Sydney Film Festival’s Gourmet Cinema lineup looks deliciously entertaining.

Three foodie films will be shown, accompanied by a fine dining experience catered by some of Sydney’s best chefs.

The first screening will be the Australian premiere of Sergio Herman: Fucking Perfect, a behind the scenes documentary of the Dutch chef. The film will be followed by a four-course meal served by Sydney’s 2014 Chef of the Year, Ross Lusted.

Another Australian premiere, the second screening for Gourmet Cinema will be Foodies. Foodies is a documentary exploring the sometimes obsessive world of food bloggers who eat with their eyes first. The screening will be followed by a three-course meal prepared by Sydney’s Japanese food artisans, Azuma.

If that’s not enough, there will be a third screening (also an Australian premiere) of Good Things Await, a look at biodynamic farming in Denmark. This documentary will be followed by a Danish inspired five-course meal by the Governor’s Table.

All meals are paired with wines selected by Eden Road Wines and beers from Little Creatures.

Gourmet Cinema screenings will take place from Tuesday June 9 – Thursday June 11. For more information see Sydney Film Festival’s website.
