Catmosphere Sydney, the space-themed cat cafe set to launch into paw-bit this winter, has put out the call for crowdfunding assistance to get off the ground.

The Ducky Mafia team behind the concept have recruited cafe manager Yun Xia Segal to pilot operations, and announced a partnership with the charity group Inner City Strays to give a home to felines in need by hiring them at the cafe. Catmosphere will offer coffee, desserts, and of course an up-close-and-pawsonal experience with some cute kitties.

In the meantime, though, the call-out is on for more funding. Contributors to the crowdfunding campaign will be in line for advanced tickets, merchandise and even kitty naming rights.

Catmosphere Sydney is set to open in July. Visit the Catmosphere Sydney Indiegogo page or its Facebook page to get involved.
