The first every High Country Wine and Cheese Festival will be coming to Thredbo for one weekend in March, allowing cheese and wine lovers from around the country to indulge themselves, all while taking in some of the most picturesque landscapes in Australia.

Just some of the products being showcased at the festival will be a collection of Yalumba Wines, one of the country’s oldest and more renowned family-owned wineries, and King Island Dairy cheeses.

There will also be a Thredbo Cheese Rolling Competition, which will see people of all ages pitted against each other as they chase a wheel of cheese down a retired ski run.

The festival also offers live music and entertainment, as well as hotel package deals provided by The Thredbo Alpine Hotel.

The inaugural High Country Wine And Cheese Festival takes place in Thredbo on Saturday March 14 and Sunday March 15. Visit the website for a complete list of details.
