The production will be the first Australian performance of Edward Albee’s work since he died earlier this year.

Theatron Group will be performing Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? over the next few weeks.

Edward Albee’s Tony Award-winning play will be brought to life in the Greek Theatre, Marrickville and tell the story of Martha (Deborah Galanos) and George’s (Nicholas Papademetriou) marriage breakdown as they spend an evening with younger couple Nick (Christian Charisiou)and Honey (Adele Querol). The intimate space will provide audiences with a close-up experience as Martha and George play cat-and-mouse.

The show will open for previews on Friday November 25 and run until Saturday December 17. Performances are Wednesday – Saturday at 7.30pm and Sundays at 5pm. The Greek Theatre is located in the Addison Road Community Centre, 142 Addison Road, Marrickville. Get a ticket to the show here.
