Kevin Bacon, the beloved mascot of The Grounds of Alexandria and possessor of the most munted teeth in the business is retiring.

You may recognize Kevin Bacon from the infamous pig-napping of 2013. In which Kevin and his mate Bradley the lamb were stolen from The Grounds and found 597 kilometres away in a wombat shelter.

The Grounds will be throwing a seven-week celebration honouring Kevin’s reign, with the final farewell taking place mid-August.

Master Bacon has been a resident pig of The Grounds for over five years. It is time for him to hand over the throne. He’ll spend the rest of his days enjoying a lavish retirement at The Riverside Eco Farm Retreat.
