Dear Pluto and Groove Therapy are getting together for Smooth Moves, a brand new dance workshop aimed at keen but very green dancers.
The workshop, which will take place at Redfern warehouse, is an open hip hop class led by Vanessa Marian (Groove Therapy).
The class is designed to make attendees simply feel good about themselves, while learning hip hop moves that will give them the confidence to venture out onto the dancefloor.
Groove Therapy is headed by industry professional Marian, whose experience comes from street dance across NYC, Berlin, Paris, London Tokyo and Australia. Dear Pluto hosts events in and around Sydney, including markets, workshops, exhibitions, talks and perhaps most famously, speed dating parties.
The class goes for 75 minutes and will cost you $20 at the door. It’s held on Wednesday July 6 from 7pm at 1-5 Woodburn Street, Redfern. Tickets are on sale now.
