How does a double dose of art sound to you?

German-born Stefan Thiel is a boundary-pusher, an artist uninhibited by questions surrounding genre or medium. His upcoming exhibition at Dominik Mersch is titledBasic Trust, and continues in his vein of renegade defiance, combining paintings and cut-outs to create something unlike anything punters have seen before.

Also to be hosted at Dominik Mersch is a new exhibition from Danielle Tooley. Compared to Thiel, Tooley is relatively new to the art world, but the Sydney-based painter is already recieving rapturous acclaim for her “nostalgic and psychological” work. Sound like your cup of tea? Then hop to it, won’t you?

Both exhibitions hit the Dominik Mersch gallery on Thursday December 1. For more information, head here.
