If you like your theatre to come primal and unprocessed, then this one’s for you.

The Old Fitz Theatre have announced they will be hosting the Sydney premiere of Belleville, the shocking new play from celebrated theatrical rising talent Amy Herzog.

In customary Herzog style, the work combines the personal and the political, charting the slow unravelling of a young couple living in Paris, as the world around them also begins to crumble. Given Herzog has been responsible for some of the most exciting and innovative works of recent memory, this is one definitely not to be missed.

Bellevilleopens at The Old Fitz Theatre on Tuesday April 12 and runs through till Saturday May 7. More information is available through The Old Fitz website, here.
