Diana Rouvas first burst into the public eye on Season 1 of The Voice. However, this vocalist’s musical history started a long time before her stint on the talent show.

Born into a musical family Rouvas was banging on keys and belting out tunes from toddlerhood. She fled to America at age 16 to start a career as a professional singer.

By 17 she was touring internationally with Tina Arena. However, the fickle finger of fate that is the music industry, meant it took some time before Rouvas was able to pursue a solo career. That time has now come, proving that tenacity and a commitment to follow your passions will pay off in the end.

Diana Rouvas will be releasing her single Heart of Goodbye on April 25 through Universal Music. See Diana atThe Oxford Hotel on May 9.
