Drone metal trendsetters Earth will tour Australia this June.
The band came to prominence in the early ’90s with three albums that defined drone – their singular take on reverb and repetition captivated fans everywhere until they went on hiatus at the end of the century. Dylan Carlson revived his group in the mid-’00s, and now Earth are working on an eighth studio album.
In the meantime, they’ll come our way to play Manning Bar on Thursday June 19 as part of a four-date national tour.
