Melbourne singer/songwriter Emma Russack has just released her third studio album and to celebrate she’s announced a Sydney show.

Currently tagging along with Oh Mercy’s Alex Gow and acclaimed Australian soloist Dan Kelly on their national Dreamers tour, Russack’s found time to unveil In a New State, ‘an utterly entrancing piece of art, which allows your imagination to meander through its tracks.’

The John Lee (Beaches, The Ocean Party) and Joey Walker (King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard) produced release has garnered airplay from BBC radio in the UK and praise from critics such as Uncut, Rolling Stone, Q Magazine, Vice and Mojo.

Emma Russack comes to the Golden Age Cinema on Thursday August 4.
