Win$3,000 cash and a spot on the lineup for the 2017 Newtown Festival by singing a song for your suburb.

Sydneyvision is a quirky and colourful local music video contest. Think Eurovision, but with less hairspray and more sunshine. Entrants are to submit an original music video in order to contend for the major prize of $3,000 and a chance to perform at the Newtown Festival.

In a sweet or sour shout-out to a suburb, the music video must lyrically weave in a Sydney suburb’s name and some allusion to the concept of ‘infinity’. The 12 best videos will be screened at Dendy Opera Quays on Wednesday August 16 for the Grand Final.
