The Keep Sydney Open lobby group has been fighting the lockout laws since their inception more than three years ago, and now the organisers are taking it to the next level.

KSO has announced plans to host its very first music festival, Meet Me In The Cross, to celebrate all the great things about Sydney’s nightlife.

The festival will take over some of Kings Cross’ most famous music venues, including the Kings Cross Hotel, The World Bar, Candys Apartment, Potts Point Hotel, Crane Bar, Jangling Jack’s and Sweethearts Rooftop.

The 18+ event on Saturday July 1 has a boom lineup in the works, curated by Sydney party people Future Classic, Elefant Traks, Astral People, Heaps Gay, Sweat It Out, Lovebombs, Zoo Project and We Love, with the full list of performers to be announced.

For now, keep up to date with the event news at the Keep Sydney Open Facebook page.
