The venues involved in the upcoming King Street Crawl have begun to announce their lineups for the festival that aims to celebrate the creative and cultural hub of Newtown.

The aptly-named festival will wind through King Street in Newtown for one day to bring together the various businesses and bands that run along the musical strip of the city.

The first to drop was a rad lineup at The Marlborough Hotel. The much-loved Marly Bar will be playing host to Richard In Your Mind, Australia, Bachelor Pad, Hedge Fund and Jack T Wotton.

Also keeping Newtown weird will be The Midnight Special, featuring Melodie Nelson, Roadhouses and Terza Madre.

The Town Hall Hotel will be offering up TommyD, Swords, Phantastic Ferniture, Luke Escombe, Brian Campeau, Maxine Kauter Band, Leura, Midnight Tea Party and Fat Yahoozah.

And last but not least, The Union Hotel will be keeping with its commitment to awesome Sydney and surrounds music with CROW, The Maladies, The Daphne Rawling Band, Oh Willy Dear, Caitlin Harnett, Andy Golledge, and Holy Soul DJs.
