The Laugh Stand’s next comedy showcase is in support of theSo They Cancharity, empowering women and children in East Africa through education.
Comedy will come from locals Julia Wilson, Scott Dettrick, Matty B, Dane Hiser, Suren Jayemanne, Umit Bali, Michele Betts, Amanda Gray and Jonas Holt (a Tony Abbott impersonator). Mikey Robins will do the duty as MC for the night.
All profits from the night will go toSo They Can, founded in 2009 by Cassandra Treadwell. The proceeds will assist children who live in the internally displaced persons camp in Nakuru, Kenya, giving them an opportunity to get an education and have a prosperous future.
