Plenty of vegetarians and vegans already understand the struggle all too well of going to a fast food restaurant, only to find that there’s no suitable option for them on the menu. However, thanks to one of the world’s largest fast food chains, this may soon be a thing of the past with McDonald’s now trialling a new vegan burger.

As Business Insider reports, McDonald’s have started a small trial for their new vegan burger, but there’s a catch: it’s currently only available in Finland.

Dubbed the McVegan, the burger consists of a soy-based patty, complete with all the regular veggie trimmings, in addition to a vegan McFeast sauce.

Already, social media has fallen in love with the burger, sharing countless images of the new delicacy, with commenters hoping that the burger will make its way to their neck of the woods soon.

Currently, the burger is only available in Finnish restaurants for a limited time, with the new addition only on the menu until November 21st. Here’s hoping that the Finnish trial is indeed successful, because we may just end up seeing a vegan option that isn’t fries on the global menu soon.
