After its world premiere in Sydney back in 1996, the Hayes Theatre Co and Luckiest Productions are bringing home Miracle City.

The musical tells the story of the Truswells, a family with a dream to build a religious-inspired theme park. The story hinges on the extreme lengths that Ricky Truswell, father of the family, goes to make his crazed idea become a reality.

Director Darren Yap recounts that he“saw Miracle City in 1996 and I was profoundly inspired by it. [It’s] one of the best Australian musicals ever written, it deserves to be seen again by a new generation of audiences.”

Miracle City runs from Friday October 17 – Sunday November 16 at Hayes Theatre Co. Tickets are on sale from Monday July 14, from $44.
