The Aussie roots ensemble will play Mona Vale Hotel in January.

Blue King Brown, formed in Byron Bay by Natalie Pa’apa’a and Carlo Santone, have three albums under their belt and have supported big names such as Damien Marley, Silverchair, Carlos Santana and The Cat Empire. Now, they will bring their beats-driven sound to Sydney early 2017.

Hailed as “the voice of the street, the band of the future” by Mr. Santana himself, their second album Worldwize – Part 1 North And South earned an ARIA nod for Best Blues and Roots album in 2011. In mid-2014, the band relocated to Jamaica to work on their third album, Born Free.

Update:Blue King Brown also have two more New South Wales shows:Boyd Education Centre, Riversdale on Saturday January 14 and Proud Mary’s, Erina on Sunday January 15.

Blue King Brown will play on Friday January 13 at the Mona Vale Hotel. Tickets are available through Oztix.
