Bluesfest just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

The Easter weekend event’s latest announcement sees a slew of blues guitar heroes join the 2017 lineup, with Eric Gales, Mud Morganfield, Devon Allman and Experience Jimi Hendrix getting in on the action.

Elsewhere, Jeff Lang is taking to the stage alongside Ray Beadle and The Silver Dollars, Lloyd Spiegel, Glenn Cardier and The Sideshow, Davy Knowles, Blind Boy Paxton and Melody Angel.

Meanwhile, the festival has been nominated for a stunning fifth year in a row in theprestigious 2016 Annual Pollstar Awards’ International Music Festival Of The Year. Bluesfest is the only Australian festival to be nominated in the past decade, and will be up againstBritish Summer Time Hyde Park (UK), Glastonbury Festival (UK), Lollapalooza Berlin (Germany), Primavera Sound (Spain) and Rock Werchter (Belgium) for the prize.

Bluesfest 2017 takes place at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm from Thursday April 13 – Monday April 17. The full program and tickets are available now at the website.
