Japanese noise band Boris – not to be confused with your half-Russian uncle – have locked in an Australian tour.
Boris have collaborated with noise genre overlords Sunn O))), for one, and have earned the thumbs up from none other than the BRAG, as well as music press like Spin, The Quietus, Sputnik Music and Cvlt Nation. This Japanese experimental rockers released their 19th album in 19 years (!) last year, the to-the-point titledNoise, and are touring in support of it.
Update: a second show has now been announced.
Boris will make their way across Australia, arriving at Newtown Social Club on Thursday May 28 (new show) and Friday May 29.
