Converse have unveiled the 84 acts chosen for the newConverse Rubber Tracksglobal program, offering free recording time at 12 legendary recording studios around the world, and four Australian bands have made the cut.

Throughout the registration period, over 9,000 up-and-coming international artists applied for opportunity, with the final acts representing 28 countries.

For a two week period studios including Converse Rubber Tracksin Brooklyn, New York and Boston,Massachusetts, AbbeyRoad Studiosin London,England, Sunset Soundin Los Angeles, California andTuff Gongin Kingston, Jamaica, will host the chosen artists.

On the list, and scoring studio time at Studio 301 in Sydney are Melbourne band’s Reptiles and The Attics, as well as Sydney group Vigilantes. Melbourne band Abreact have been selected to record at Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, Canada.

The Converse Rubber Tracks recording program begins on Monday September 14.
