The indie darling will play Sydney in December.

Darren Hanlon will be topping off 2016 with his 11th annual Christmas tour, which will feature an intimate solo set drawing on songs from his entire back catalogue and a surprise guest or two each night.

A recent addition to the shows has been The Christmas Address, where guests are invited to explain what Christmas means to them. Recent ramblings on the festive season have come from Bob Hawke,Lawrence Leung,Tom Ballard and Bob Ellis.

This year has seen Hanlon tour remote areas of the outback and indigenous communities of the Northern Territory; before heading to the glacial beauty of Alaska in October.

Joining Hanlon for the majority of the tour is Nadia Reid, singer-songwriter from New Zealand with whom he also co-toured with earlier this year.

Join Darren and his friends at St. Stephen’s Church on Saturday December 17.
