‘Rattlesnake’is the first taste of the forthcoming LP Flying Microtonal Banana which gets part of its name from a new exploration into microtonal tuning. Featuring intervals smaller than a semitone, the art is not found in customary Western tuning octaves.

It’s no surprise that the seven-piece are further extending their sound, given their propensity for adventure and treachery, having explored almost every genre across their discography. Buoyed by a helter skelter riff, Rattlesnakemixes their garage sound fromNonagon Infinity with dabbles of their I’m In Your Mind Fuzzpsychedelia.

King Gizzard will unleash on the Big Top at Luna Park for Gizzfeston Tuesday November 29.
