The Murlocs are excited to drop their debut LP on Thursday April 17.

For five guys describing themselves as a “bunch of lazy good for nothnz pretendn to do somen”, they sure have accomplished more than just “somen”.

Their unique fusion of distorted R&B sounds have had them playing alongside the likes of Graveyard Train and Dave Graney, and they were also the winners of one of triple j’s Harvest Festival competitions. The howling vocals of Ambrose Kenny-Smith and noisy guitar combine to produce melodies reminiscent of a ’90s garage band, but of the very best kind.

With the release of Loopholes, The Murlocs are celebrating by taking on an east coast tour with shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Catch them on the Sydney leg of their tour on Saturday April 19 at the Factory Floor.
