The Rocks precinct will transform into a lively place of celebration on Australia Day, with a showcase of music, art, and events announced for the holiday.

The Green at First Fleet Park will feature a free entry show headlines by nine-piece group Saskwatch, alongside Dustin Tebbutt, Thelma Plum, The Bombay Royale and Benny Walker.

Meanwhile, The Laneway at Atherden Street will host female folk trio Little May, Fishing (with special guest Al from Cloud Control), Winterborne, The Morrisons and The Lulu Raes.

The Rocks will also host a 10km wheelchair race along George Street, and a series of street party games, as well as a ‘relaxation area’ to listen to triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown.

Australia Day at The Rocks is being curated by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority on Monday January 26. More information is on The Rocks website.
