Determined father Mark Davis has been putting in the hard yards over the last 12 months, and has produced a fundraising compilation album titledSongs For Blake – Embracing Autism.

After his son Blake was diagnosed with autism last year, Mark went about approaching international artists for contributions to an album aimed at raising funds for both Blake’s treatment and a number of handpicked Australian organisations. Featuring 24 artists from all over the world, including Ladyhawke (NZ/USA), Monster Truck (Canada), Shawn Smith (USA) and Haarlo (Australia), it puts to shame any mixtape you ever gave your highschool crush and just about elevates Mark to Dad of the Year.

Songs For Blakeis available for purchase from the website, where you can find full information about the cause and the contributing artists.
