The Support Actmusic industry charity will honour Jenny Morris’ contributions to charity and humanitarian work at this year’s Music In The House event.

The event will be hosted by Rachel Ward and feature performances from Jimmy Barnes, Neil Finn, Montaigne and more.

Jenny Morris’ music career spans back to 1979 with The Crocodiles, QED and multiple solo albums, on her way to becoming a two-time ARIA best female artist award winner in 1987 and 1988.

Her work with charity began in 1991 as a WorldVision ambassador in Kenya, and she also performed for Australian troops in Afghanistan, Kuwait and East Timor from 2009-2013. Morris recieved the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2010.
