The beloved market returns to Manning Bar for another celebration of Sydney’s rock ‘n’ roll and alternative cultures.
Sydney Rock ‘n’ Roll & Alternative Market is turning six and they’re ready to celebrate with a wonderful array of musicians and DJs. The likes of The Rocksteady Ratpack, Wes Pudsey & the Sonic Aces, The Dan Barnett Swing 5, and Narelle Evans and the Jetbacks will all be performing on the night, and a swing dancing for beginners class will be on offer from 10.30am to 11.30am, along with the usual colourful characters and charisma that the market offers.
For six years the market has brought together the best of Sydney’s rock & roll and alternative fashion and culture, including records, accessories, homewares, unique and vintage clothing, vintage hair and make-up artists, and a whole host of food, family-friendly activities and vintage vehicles on display. It’s a great opportunity to appreciate a distinctly local take on rock & roll and alternative culture, and support local stallholders and artists.
