Vivid Music @ Seymour has announced another exciting programme as part of Vivid Sydney.

In partnership with the University of Sydney, the Seymour Centre will host a series of events engaging in creative inspiration and expression. A number of these will come under the category of New Wave: Sound, while others will be under Musify + Gamify.

New Wave: Sound will explore a number of different musical styles, ideas and instruments, including gothic, double bass, the recorder and acousmatic compositions. Each individual show will explore the historical and contemporary implications of its subject.

Music + Gamify will explore the spaces where music play and game play meet. The events will not just focus on video game music, but the whole concept of interactive design, and reflect on the relationship between musical and gameplay experiences.

Vivid Music @ Seymour events will be kicking off on Wednesday May 27 and will continue up until Saturday June 6. For more information and tickets, see the Seymour Centre’s website.
