As cool as it would be to see The Beatles in concert, they’re not likely to appear live any time soon.

Nevertheless, we can still enjoy the greatness of The Fab Four in the shape of The Zapples, the Aussie tribute collective who, if we may be so bold, may be the best Beatles band since The Beatles.

The Zapples are the brainchild of You Am I legend Davey Lane, who along with Ash Naylor, Brett Wolfenden, James Fleming and Nick Murphy, will channel the spirit of the mop tops in the upcoming tribute show From Mania To Revolution. The show brings together the creme de la creme of Aussie music fraternity and classic Beatles tracks.

Here’s a little taster of what to expect on the mania tour with the band’s cover of ‘A Hard Day’s Night’:

Catch The Zapples in From Mania To Revolution at Manning Bar, Friday February 3.
