Festival favourites (and nigh on adopted Aussies) The Wombats will play a headline show in Sydney alongside their Splendour In The Grass visit this July.

The Liverpool lads who made us dance to Joy Division all those years ago are making their Splendour charge alongside their third album, Glitterbug. The Wombats have made multiple appearances in the triple j Hottest 100 in their short career, but with a name like that, who’d deny them Aussie status anyway?

The Wombats will play the Enmore Theatre on Monday July 27 with support from Circa Waves. Tickets go on sale 10am Wednesday April 29.
