Orphans is about to hit Sydney to test the strength of family ties in moments of crisis.

Written by Tony Award-winner Dennis Kelly and directed by Dan Graham, this play will pull on the heart strings of Sydney with its unforgiving depiction of urban landscapes. Orphans raises issues of social and racial equality that are as relevant to Sydney as they were to the orginal home of the play in Edinburgh where it was first shown at the Traverse Theatre in 2009.

Orphans with be playing at the Old 505 Theatre in Surry Hills from Wednesday July 2 until July 20. Tickets range from $18-28 and can be found online.
