One of Australia’s most talented blues artists Owen Campbellhas released a new single, titled ‘Remember To Breathe’, and will embark on a single launch tour across the east coast of Australia.

Campbell kick-starts his tour at the Deniliquin Blues Festival, bringing his gravelly blues and roots fusion to the stage alongsideJohn Mayer, Elvis Costello and The Doobie Brothers. Making its way through regional country towns in Victoria before heading through country New South Wales and Queensland, the tour knocks off atBlues on Broadbeach Festival – which will see Campbell billed up against Russell Morris, Diesel and a heap more.

Remember to Breathe was inspired in part by Campbell’s massive touring schedule of 2013, where he played in some very industrial and frenetic cities across the US, Europe and the UK.“’Remember To Breathe’ is about living in the city, I find most cities insufferable, the pollution, the congestion… I find it overwhelming. It seems sad that this is the pinnacle of human civilisation, an environment that’s so disconnected from our natural world. Some people love it… I don’t.”

Owen Campbell will tour the east coast of Australia, including shows at Lizotte’s Central Coast on Wednesday April 16, Old Manly Boat Shed on Thursday April 17, The Camelot Lounge on Saturday May 3 and Lizotte’s Newcastle on Sunday May 4.The Pilgrim is available through MGM locally and throughReckless Grace.
